The Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 – carrying 239 people – vanished above the Indian Ocean on March 8, 2014.

All efforts to track down the plane have failed and the jet’s whereabouts have remained a mystery ever since.

This week a new Google Maps image sent conspiracy theorists into meltdown after it appeared to show the missing jet.

Victor Iannello was an original member of the independent group of specialists that helped Australian investigators try to pinpoint MH370’s crash site in the southern Indian Ocean off western Australia.

Using a new analysis of data from the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) he believes he has found a possible location of the missing Boeing 777-200.
